The playground isn’t the problem, it’s the solution. Chainlink Fundamentals empowers youth ballplayers through access and instruction. The playground is one of the most accessible venues in our cities, yet it isn’t looked at as a tool for aspiring basketball players to achieve their dreams. The playground doesn’t require you to be a be a member of a team, you don’t need to be an elite player, and you don’t need a ticket to get in the door. All you need is the drive to get better and the proper instruction to fuel that passion.

There are hundreds of thousands of young ballplayers across the country who do not have access to proper instruction. At Chainlink we have married the playground with specialized instruction in order to give our kids the tools they need to succeed.

Chain Link Fundamentals is a not-for-profit basketball clinic program created by Dime Magazine that provides top-notch basketball instruction for urban youth. Chain Link is the ultimate basketball teaching compliment to AAU programs, travel teams and youth/community organizations.   The Chain Link environment is positive, energetic, safe and structured to ensure the best possible life experience for all participants. While in our program the participants are also exposed to essential life skills components such as the development of their work ethic, leadership skills, teamwork, communication and the importance of education.
