On Sunday, August 16th, Chainlink Fundamentals was at Haddonfield (N.J.) Memorial High School to put on a clinic for more than 100 local youth basketball players. Attendees ranged from middle school players up through high school athletes, and they represented areas from as far away as North Jersey and Atlantic City.

The clinics started at 10 a.m. and went until 2 p.m. at in the high school’s two gyms and were run by Hoop Group’s accomplished team of coaches. The participants experienced 90-minute skills session on the court as well as a 75-minute student/athlete workshop from the Positive Coaching Alliance.

The participants were then served lunch and bused over to Cherry Hill Mall for the official opening of the country’s fourth House of Hoops presented by Foot Locker, where they were able to meet the Philadelphia 76ers’ Andre Iguodala and Thad Young. Before the event the Chainlink participants had the opportunity to submit a question they would want ask Andre and Thad, and three lucky players were chosen to ask their question at the store. Those children each received a $50 Foot Locker gift certificate.
